With Postcron you can tag Twitter and Instagram accounts, and Facebook pages on your posts.

To start tagging, first select the social accounts you will be working with and go to the Composer on the Scheduled Posts section on the side menu, to create your post.

Now, tagging behavior may vary depending on the social network:

- For Facebook, simply type @ in the Composer and you will see a pop-up menu. Then, type the name of the Facebook Page you want to tag and select it among the options that will come up. That's it! You will see the Facebook page tagged on your post.

- For Twitter, type @ followed by the account's handle exactly as it appears on Twitter. The Composer interface won't show it as a mention, but don't worry! Once it's posted, the Twitter account will be tagged.

- For Instagram, tagging behavior also depends on the type of Instagram account.

For Business accounts, that support direct posting, Instagram will automatically detect tags included on the post as long as they follow the typical format: @username, so you type @ followed by the account's handle exactly as it appears on Instagram. This obviously only works for feed posts, and if the username is correct and the account allows tagging.

For Personal accounts (feed and stories) and Business accounts Stories, which work with notification reminders, you can tag directly on the Instagram app.

😎 ProTip: If you're scheduling posts to different social networks and the user's name of the account you want to tag has different formats depending on the social network (for example, "User Name" on Facebook and @username on Twitter) it's recommended that you schedule these posts separately so you can properly add mentions.
