The Bulk Uploader is a Postcron tool that allows you to schedule hundreds of posts at once and in a few minutes from a spreadsheet. If you’re looking for a quick way to save time and schedule your Instagram content ahead of time this tool is for you! Here you’ll find a step-by-step tutorial to start using it.
Unlike other social networks, when you use the Bulk Uploader to schedule Instagram or Facebook Pages content, you’ll notice a dropdown menu at the bottom of the page where you can select whether you want it to be posted to the Feed or Stories.
Keep in mind that direct posting is available for Instagram Business accounts only. All Feed or Story posts from Personal accounts and Stories from Business accounts that wish to publish with Notification, need to be posted through a notification sent to your mobile device with the Postcron app. You can find more information here.
Another thing you should take into account when creating your spreadsheet is that Instagram doesn’t allow link or text-only posts, you need to include a photo. To add a photo to your Instagram posts, you can either add a URL to the image into column G of your spreadsheet or use our complementary Image Uploader tool. If needed, you can also manually edit each of your posts before scheduling them with the Bulk Uploader.
Also, make sure that column H (the link column) is always empty when you’re scheduling Instagram posts. If you’d like to include a link to your post’s caption, you can add it to column A, but keep in mind that the link won’t be clickable.
