For scheduled TikTok posts, you can choose whether to Direct-post your content or post via Notification. If you choose the Notification option, the posts will be published through a notification sent to your TikTok App, allowing you to use all of TikTok's native features and have more control over your video postings, if that's what you'd like.
To correctly get the notifications, it's important that:
You have the TikTok App downloaded on your mobile device.
You are logged into the TikTok account where you want to post your scheduled videos.
To schedule a post, go to the Postcron website, choose the TikTok account you want to post to and schedule the video. You can see a step-by-step tutorial on how to schedule posts here.
On the scheduled date and time, you will receive a notification on your mobile device from the TikTok App letting you know that your video is ready to be posted. Remember to check that TikTok notifications are active both on the App and on your mobile device.
Once you’re on the TikTok App, you will see a message that says: "Your video from Postcron is ready." Tap on it to continue.
At this point, you can continue editing your video. You will be able to add text, sounds, and any other tools offered by TikTok to complement your content and make it more attractive to your audience. If your video was already created with everything you need, you don't need to do anything in this step.
Once you’re ready to continue, click on Next:
On the next screen, you will see other options to add to your post, such as text, location, mentions, links, and more! Once you’re done, click Post to post your content, or Drafts to save it as a draft and post it later on.
If for some reason you missed the notification, don't worry! It will be available on the TikTok App. Just go to Notifications > System Notifications to view it and post your content.
Important: If you have more than one TikTok account, keep in mind that you must be logged into that account at the time you receive the notification.
