Meta Work Accounts are a new type of account that gives you access to different work tools across Meta without having to use your personal Facebook account. They allow individuals to access Meta’s business tools with their work credentials and organizations to have more control over the security of their employees’ accounts.
Once businesses migrate to Meta Work Accounts, their access to business assets granted by personal Facebook accounts will not automatically transition to the new Meta Work Accounts. They will need to regrant permissions to those business assets using their new work accounts. Meta is offering a 30-day grace period for users to regrant said permissions starting from the day they migrate to Meta Work Accounts.
For Postcron users this means that once they migrate to Meta Work Accounts they need to reconnect their Facebook social accounts within Postcron to regrant the required permissions for Postcron to post on their behalf, access and display their Facebook Insights and other Meta-related tools within Postcron. This should be done within the 30-day grace period to prevent any service interruption.
Reconnecting your Facebook social accounts on Postcron is quite simple. First, log into Postcron and, on a different browser tab, log into your Meta Work Account so Postcron can access your credentials. Now, just go to Your Account on the left side menu (profile picture), and click on Social Accounts. Then, find your Facebook social accounts and click on the Reconnect button (two arrows icon).
