Contest Resources

The resources section of your contest is designed to provide creators with the tools and inspiration they need to create high-quality content. This section includes two key elements: Assets and Inspiration.

1. Assets

The assets section is where you can upload or share prerecorded content, videos, or images of your product. These resources are optional but can be incredibly helpful for creators.

  • Examples of Assets:

    • Product videos showcasing features or call-to-actions.

    • High-quality images of your product or logo.

  • How to Share Assets:

    • Upload your files directly or share links from platforms like Google Drive.

    • Include a brief explanation of how creators can use these assets in their content.

While assets are not mandatory, providing them can give creators more options and ensure their content aligns with your brand.

2. Inspiration

The inspiration section is one of the most important parts of your contest. This is where you guide creators by showing examples of the content you’d like to see. There are several ways to source and share inspiration:

  • Existing Content:

    • Include videos or images that have performed well for your product.

    • Example: If a TikTok video for your product received millions of views, add it here with a short description of why it was successful.

  • External Content:

    • Search TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms for viral content in your niche.

    • Example: Search keywords related to your brand (e.g., "quit vaping") to find creators who have gone viral. Add links to their content with explanations of why it performed well.

  • Competitor or Ad Content:

    • Include high-performing Facebook ads, YouTube ads, or similar content. Use resources like the Facebook Ads Library to find these examples.

Tips for Inspiration Content

  • Provide 3 to 5 examples to give creators clear guidance without overwhelming them.

  • Explain why each example works and how it aligns with your contest’s goals.

  • Highlight formats and styles that are effective in your niche (e.g., educational, entertaining, or viral content).

By curating helpful assets and relevant inspiration, you set the stage for creators to produce content that drives results. Next, we’ll cover how to set up the prize section of your contest.
