How To Add A Profile

Profiles are an important part of PouncerAI. This tutorial will guide you through the process.

Profiles In PouncerAI

Profiles are used to instruct our AI system on "who" is creating a proposal. They form an essential element of PouncerAI so make sure your profile is accurate and complete.

💡Why You Should Add Multiple Profiles for the Same Person

Depending on your skills and experience, you may want to add multiple Profiles for the same person.

For example, if you are a web developer, you may have a Profile for your design work and your coding capabilities. With this approach, you can target your AI generated proposals to jobs related to your specific skills as opposed to batching them all together.

  1. Click Profiles in the left navigation window.
    ​

  2. Click the Add New Profile button.

  3. Profile Details allows you to name the profile for future reference.
    ​

  4. Personal Details are used in the AI to determine "who" the person is.
    ​

    1. Note, we provide auto-suggestions for Profession and Skills. However you are free to enter any related item in the field.

    2. Please enter one word(s) at a time and do not use a comma

  5. Portfolio Links make it easy for you to include additional details to your proposals later.
    ​

  6. ⭐️ Project Experience is the most important part of your Profile. Please add every project related to the Profile in this area.
    ​

⭐️Why Project Experience Matters

PouncerAI uses your past projects as part of the AI prompts we send to the AI system. This allows the tool to incorporate your prior work as part of your new proposals.

The more detailed you are in the Project Experience, the better.

Add New Project - Tips

You will want to pay special attention to the information you enter, given the importance of the Project Experience in our AI system.

  1. Project Name will appear in your proposals so keep it short.

  2. Project Type helps the AI system know what type of project it is.

  3. Project Description matters a lot. Here is a quick guide for what to include:

    1. General description of the project

    2. What you specifically did for the project

    3. Any tools and resources you used in the project

    4. Any results you achieved (very important).

  4. Project Link is optional and may be referenced in your AI prompts.

  5. Project Skills - make sure to include any and all related skills you used for the project.
