⚠️ Caution: Internal Access Required Only When Instructed
This procedure exposes high-voltage components and critical internal electronics. Only perform these steps when directly instructed by a certified Poursteady technician directly.

Prerequisites:

  • Poursteady PS2 is powered OFF

    • Power switch must be in the OFF position (red light on switch should be off)

    • Power cord must be unplugged from the wall

  • Tools required:

    • #2 Phillips head screwdriver

    • T20 Torx (six-star) screwdriver

Main Process:

1. Remove Left Side Panel (Water & Plumbing Access)

  1. Use the #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the two top cap screws.

  2. Carefully store screws to avoid losing them.

  3. Place your fingers at the end plate seam:

    • Press in and slide the left side panel upward and off.

  4. Confirm the power is disconnected and lamp on switch is off before proceeding.

2. Remove Right Side Panel (Electronics Access)

  1. Use the #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the right side top cap screws.

  2. At the end plate, press with your thumbs and slide the right panel upward until it detaches.

  3. Set the panel aside carefully.

3. Remove the UI Panel (Front Interface)

⚠️ Use the T20 Torx screwdriver for this step only.

  1. Locate the four screws securing the UI panel.

  2. Apply moderate pressure—these screws are factory-tightened.

  3. Support the UI panel with one hand while removing the last screw to prevent it from falling.

  4. Once loose, place thumbs on the selector knobs and fingers underneath the panel.

    • Slide the panel downward gently.

  5. Disconnect the ribbon cable from the internal port and set the UI panel aside.

Reassembly Process:

4. Reattach the UI Panel

  1. Reconnect the ribbon cable firmly; you should hear a soft click when seated.

  2. Align the hook ends of the panel with the mounting points.

  3. Hand-start all four screws to confirm alignment.

  4. Use the T20 screwdriver to tighten screws in an X-pattern:

    • Bottom right → Top left → Bottom left → Top right

    • This ensures flush and even contact

5. Reinstall Right Side Panel

  1. Align the mounting slots with the chassis pegs.

  2. You may need to lightly press inward on the panel to guide it into place.

  3. Slide the panel down and ensure it is seated securely.

  4. Reattach the top cap and secure it with Phillips screws.

6. Reinstall Left Side Panel

  1. Align and slide the left panel back into place using the same technique.

  2. Reattach the top cap and secure it with the remaining Phillips screws.

  3. Confirm both panels are flush and secure.

Success Confirmation:

  • All side and UI panels are securely reinstalled

  • UI panel is functional and the machine powers on properly after reassembly

  • No misalignment or panel gaps are visible

Escalation:

  • If the UI panel does not respond after reassembly:

    • Reopen the panel and verify the ribbon cable is fully connected

  • If hardware alignment issues persist:

    • Initiate an Intercom support session

    • Include:

      • Photos of the panel alignment

      • Confirmation that power was disconnected during service
