Purpose:

Service Mode allows access to advanced diagnostic tools, flowmeter calibration, temperature monitoring, and hardware-level configurations for PS2 systems. Service mode can be accessed in any sw version (although older software versions may call it "technician mode")

⚠️ Important Note:
Only enter Service Mode when instructed by a Poursteady technician. Changes made in Service Mode can override user recipes and core system behavior.

Prerequisites:

  • Poursteady PS2 is powered on and fully booted

  • Access to the UI panel

  • No active brews or service operations in progress

Main Process:

1. Navigate to Service Mode

  1. On the PS2 UI panel, tap the Settings icon

  2. Scroll down and select Machine Info

  3. Continue scrolling until you find the Service Mode option

2. Enable Service Mode

  • Tap Service Mode, then confirm when prompted:
“Are you sure you want to enable Service Mode?”

  • Once activated:

    • The Service Mode icon will appear in the top-right corner of the UI

    • New advanced settings will become visible under the Settings menu

🧠 Service Mode Enables:

  • FM Calibrate: Flowmeter calibration tool

  • Live temperature readout during pours

  • Access to hardware test recipes (e.g., Tech FM Cal)

  • Additional diagnostics and real-time system metrics

3. Exit Service Mode

  • Once your diagnostics or calibration is complete:

    • Return to Settings → Machine Info

    • Scroll to Service Mode

    • Tap Disable

  • The system will return to standard UI behavior, restoring all saved user recipes and brew modes

Success Confirmation:

  • Service Mode icon appears when enabled and disappears when disabled

  • Advanced settings only accessible in Service Mode are hidden once exited

  • Normal brewing functionality resumes without interruption
