Prerequisites:
Access to my.poursteady.com
An active Poursteady account
A connected Poursteady machine
Main Process:
Log into Poursteady: Navigate to my.poursteady.com and log into your account.
Open the Recipe Tab:
Click on the Recipe tab.
You can either click the plus (+) icon at the top or select "Create Recipe" to start.
Name and Configure the Recipe:
Enter a name for your recipe.
Select the desired brew method and dose.
Optionally, use the ratio settings shown on the side.
Add grind setting notes if needed.
Set Filter and Water Rinse:
Choose your filter rinse pattern.
Enter the rinse water amount using the +/- buttons or by typing it in directly.
Create Your First Pour:
Specify the amount of water for the pour.
Select the pour pattern.
Set the wait time before the next pour.
Add Additional Pours:
Continue to build the recipe by adding more pours.
Adjust the wait time between each.
Click "Add Pour" after configuring each one.
Monitor the total water and brew ratio updating in real-time on the side panel.
Save the Recipe:
Once satisfied, click "Create" in the top right corner.
Your recipe will be saved and ready to use.
Edit the Recipe (Optional):
To make changes later, re-open the recipe, make edits, and click "Save" to update.
Assign Recipe to Machine:
Click on the Machine tab.
Select your Poursteady machine.
Assign the recipe to the desired station.
Wait for the lights to flash on your machine, indicating readiness.
Troubleshooting:
Lights Not Flashing:
Ensure the machine is powered on and properly connected.
Retry assigning the recipe.
Changes Not Saving:
Confirm internet connection.
Refresh the page and try saving again.
Escalation:
If issues persist, contact Poursteady Support via the Help tab on the website.
Provide the browser version, recipe name, and machine ID for quicker assistance.
Success Confirmation:
The machine lights flash after assignment.
You can now brew and enjoy your custom pour-over recipe!
