PS2 - Creating a Recipe

For baristas or operators creating custom brew recipes on the PS2 2 Cup Poursteady automated brewing machine.

Step-by-Step Procedure:

  1. Open Recipe List:

    • Scroll down through the recipe list on the PS2 Poursteady interface.

    • Click the "Add Recipe" button.

  2. Name the Recipe:

    • Enter a clear and descriptive name for the recipe.

  3. Set Brewing Temperature:

    • Input the desired temperature at which the recipe will brew.

  4. Enter Recipe Details:

    • Scroll to the "Details" section.

    • Add notes including dose and grind size.

    • Enter a coffee dose to enable automatic water-to-coffee ratio calculations.

  5. Add Filter Rinse:

    • Turn on the filter rinse function.

    • Set the water volume.

    • Select the pour pattern.

  6. Add First Pour:

    • Define the volume.

    • Choose the pour pattern.

    • Select the size of the pour pattern.

    • Set the pause time (the wait time between pours).

  7. Repeat Pour Steps:

    • Add any additional pours by repeating step 6 as needed.

  8. Save the Recipe:

    • Click "Save".

    • Confirm by pressing "OK" when prompted.

  9. Preview the Recipe:

    • Scroll back up and select the newly created recipe.

    • Click and hold to access the recipe preview.

    • Verify details, especially the brewing ratio.

  10. Adjust or Edit as Needed:

  • Re-enter the recipe to make edits or refinements if required.
