How do I use an adapter to charge my Tesla?

Insert the CCS connector into the wider end of the adapter until you hear a click. Then insert the narrower end of the adapter into the Tesla vehicle’s charging port until you hear it lock and see the color of the charging port turn to blue and then green. When done charging, remove the charger/adapter from the vehicle charging port, and then use the button to detach the adapter from the CCS connector. Please remember to take your adapter when you leave, as we will be unable to return any lost or missing adapters.
