A Superbill is a fancy word for a receipt. It's commonly used as a record of sessions, diagnosis and payments in order for a patient to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.
While a Superbill seems like it should be in the Money section, in PracticeSpace, you'd actually create this within your Papers section. This article explains how to do it. Follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to https://app-dev.practicespace.health/
2. Visit your Papers section by clicking Papers on the left side menu
3. Click on Template Library
4. Next, you'll need to get the Superbill template from the PracticeSpace Template Library.
6. Once you find the template, Click Copy to move it over to your personal 'Notes and Other Templates' tab
7. Click Notes & Other Templates
8. The template will be saved as "Super Bill - copy". Click on it to open it.
9. You can edit this basic Superbill template as per your choice by adding custom fields from our form builder
10. Don't forget to change the form type if you wish to Share it with your clients. Changing the form type to 'Consent,' 'Intake' or 'Mental health' will move the template from Notes & Other templates to My Form Templates and you will be able to start sharing it.
10. If you are happy with your form template, click the Save button on the top right of that page.
Sharing your Superbill with a Client:
Sharing a completed Superbill with a client is similar to sharing any other form or client in PracticeSpace.
Remember, to share a form with a client, they'll need to have been invited to PracticeSpace first.
