Note: To add a note to a client, you much first add note templates to the Papers section. |
There are 2 ways to add a note:
Through Quick Actions
1. Click the lightning bolt on the top of the screen
2. Click "Add Note" in the dropdown
Through the Client's Profile
1. Click on "Clients" in the left menu.
2. Click on the client's name
3. Click on the "Notes" tab.
4. Click "Add note"
Adding a New Note
1. Select the note template you want by clicking on the "Select Template" dropdown
2. This will load the Note template at the bottom of the page. Fill out the note there:
3. [OPTIONAL] Select the appointment or session you want to add a note for
4. Once you've added the required information
Clicking in save will allow you to make edits at a later time
Clicking on "Save and Lock" will lock the note and prevent further edits to it. (Note: You can only update the title of locked notes).
Some final notes:
If you selected the wrong template you can easily switch to a different one in the template dropdown menu
If you don’t set a custom title, the title will be set to “Template Name on Date of Creation” (eg: Progress Note on 28 November 2022)
For notes submitted in the past, you can only update the title. The data in the note itself will remain locked.
