Updated over a year ago

PlaySpace and PracticeSpace allow you to hide or unhide your self view in your video feed. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to control this feature.

Hiding Your Self View:

  • During your teletherapy session, hover your mouse over your video feed. You'll notice three dots (…) appearing at one of the corners of your video box.

  • Click on these dots to open a small menu with various options.

  • In the menu, you'll find an option labeled 'Hide self view'. Click on this to hide your video feed from your own view. NOTE: The video will still be visible to the other participants of the session.

Unhiding Your Self View:

  • Look at the bottom bar of your teletherapy platform's interface. You'll find three horizontal dots (…).

  • Click on these dots to open a menu and navigate to the 'Settings' option.

  • Find and select the 'General' tab within the Settings.

  • In the General settings, you'll see an option labeled 'Hide self view'. If this is checked, uncheck it to start seeing your video feed again.

  • After unchecking the 'Hide self view' option, click 'OK' to apply your changes.
