There might be circumstances where you'd like different groups of Users to have different allowance budgets.
Examples of this might be allowing Managers to have higher points to give away to encourage or reward their team, or to have Users in different countries have different allowances.
Who can use this feature
π Available to Workspaces on the Team Plan and above.
βοΈ Global Admin Permissions are required
Allowance Tiers allow Admins to configure this for their PraisePal Workspace. Here's how it works:
Configuring Allowance Tiers
Allowance Tiers can be found within the Admin Settings menu, under the Workspace tab.
Each Allowance Tier only requires you to name it and to allocate points to that Allowance Tier. We also display the number of Users who have been assigned that Allowance Tier and the total budget in USD that the collective Allowance Tier has.
You can easily edit the Allowance Tier's name and points allocated by clicking on the respective Allowance Tier.
β
Allowance Tiers that are no longer relevant can be Archived. Users that are currently assigned to the Allowance Tier being archived will be automatically assigned to the Allowance Tier with the next lowest points. Each Workspace needs to always have at least one Allowance Tier, so you will not be able to archive an Allowance Tier if that is your Workspace's only Allowance Tier.
Assigning Users to an Allowance Tier
You can assign Users to an Allowance Tier by heading to the Users tab under the Admin Settings menu.
Individual
Bulk
Assigning can be done individually or in bulk, depending on your use case. Simply select your configured Allowance Tier from the dropdown of Allowance Tiers.
Important:
Assigning a User to an Allowance Tier refreshes their allowance points immediately. The points are pro-rated based on the difference in points between their newly assigned Allowance Tier and their old Allowance Tier.
New Users added to your Workspace are automatically assigned the Allowance Tier with the lowest amount of points upon joining.
