There might be scenarios where a project is confidential in the company and can't be talked about openly, yet you'd like to allow your Users the ability to recognise and appreciate their teammates.

Who can use this feature

πŸ‘‘ Available to Workspaces on the Team Plan and above.

βš™οΈ Global Admin Permissions are required

Private Recognitions allow you to do this. Private Recognitions can only be seen by the User giving the recognition, the recipient, and all Workspace Admins.

They can be enabled by simply enabling the toggle from Recognitions within the Admin Settings menu, under the Recognitions tab.

This then introduces an additional setting within the Recognitions Modal beside the Post button when Users give Recognitions.

Selecting the respective option will post the Recognition as either Private or Public.

After a recognition is posted, Users related to the recognition (either a recipient or the recognition giver) can still make the recognition private by clicking on the "Make Private" button on the bottom right of the recognition's display. This button appears after hovering over the 🌎 icon present in all recognition displays.
