PraisePal supports Incoming Webhooks for Microsoft Teams, allowing recognitions to be posted to a channel of your choosing within Microsoft Teams.

Who can use this feature

πŸ‘‘ Available to Workspaces on the Starter Plan and above.

βš™οΈ Global Admin Permissions are required

The integration with Microsoft Teams can be enabled within the Admin Settings menu, under the Integrations tab.

Setting up your Microsoft Teams Incoming Webhook

Within your channel, click on the ... button at the top right of your channel. From there, you will see a Connectors option.

Within the Connectors menu, you'll find the "Incoming Webhook" option. Click on the "Configure" button to begin setting up your Incoming Webhook.

To configure your Incoming Webhook, simply give it a name, and optionally upload a picture to be displayed in Webhook notifications. Click "Create" after you're done.

Note: We recommend uploading the PraisePal logo so that your employees can easily see someone gave a new recognition. You can download the PraisePal logo with the button below.

After you click "Create", a link will appear below, which you can copy to your clipboard. Paste this in your PraisePal Workspace's Microsoft Teams integration.

Newly posted recognitions will now be sent to your Microsoft Teams channel via the Incoming Webhook that you just configured.

Note: Only new recognitions will be sent to your Microsoft Teams channel via the Incoming Webhook. Comments to recognitions will not be sent.

Recommended: We recommend pasting the below message into your configured Teams channel and pin it so that your employees can easily give recognitions using the message as a shortcut on Teams.
