PraisePal supports Incoming Webhooks for Google Chat, allowing recognitions to be posted to a Space of your choosing within Google Chat.

Who can use this feature

👑 Available to Workspaces on the Starter Plan and above.

⚙️ Global Admin Permissions are required

The integration with Google Chat can be enabled within the Admin Settings menu, under the Integrations tab.

Within your Space, at the top, next to space title, click 🔽 Down Arrow > ⚙️ Manage webhooks button.

If your space already has other webhooks, click Add another. Otherwise, skip this step.

For Name, enter "PraisePal", or any other name you might prefer. For Avatar URL, enter https://xcnw-dtjp-sr46.s2.xano.io/vault/55vgbKLB/ABPmOBCK-C85wycDFHkgrq4hQRk/8zVM3w../PraisePal_Logo_Square.png.

You should have a screen that shows the above when you're done. Copy the link generated by Google Chat and paste this in your PraisePal Workspace's Google Chat integration.

Newly posted recognitions will now be sent to your Google Chat Space via the Incoming Webhook that you just configured.

Note: Only new recognitions will be sent to your Google Chat Space via the Incoming Webhook. Comments to recognitions will not be sent.
