Connecting suppliers to products and parts

How to connect suppliers to products, parts and other documents.

Connect a supplier to a product

  1. Go to the "Data" tab on the left.

  2. Go to the "My products" tab on the left.

  3. Find the right product.

  4. In the "Overview" tab, find "Connect product to a Supplier" button.

  5. Search for the supplier you want to connect with the product. Once you have found the supplier, press the "Add" button.

  6. Now the supplier is listed at the bottom of the page.

Connect a supplier to a part

  1. Go to the "Data" tab on the left.

  2. Go to the "Parts" tab on the left.

  3. Find the right part.

  4. In the "Overview" tab, find "Connect product to a Supplier" button.

  5. Search for the supplier you want to connect with the product. Once you have found the supplier, press the "Add" button.

  6. Now the supplier is listed at the bottom of the page.

On each supplier you can find linked products and parts in the tabs "Products" and "Parts".

How to connect multiple products to a supplier, part, or packaging:

  1. Go to the Products Overview.

  2. Select the products you want by clicking the blue check mark next to each product.

  3. Click the green "Actions" button.

  4. Then choose one of the following:

    • Assign Supplier

    • Attach Part

    • Attach Packaging

  5. You can now search and select multiple documents. Press link documents to complete the linking.

FYI: You can also do this on the Parts Overview list or the Packaging Overview list.
