Alternative solution for retrieving data from your suppliers or any other third party partner. We do recommend to invite suppliers that you regularly collect data from into the platform as a user. In some cases this is a easier and faster option if you need to enrich the data fast.

Look for the green button "External Data Enrichment":
How to create a link for a single document?
Find the give document (product, part, packaging, batch etc.) and go to the "Data" tab on the product.
Click the bottom "External Data Enrichment"
Click "Start new enrichment process"
In the pop up you have four steps:
Choose data. Choose what attributes you want to share. We recommend to filter on data model, so you only see the attributes in the given data model.
Set a deadline.
Generate link. You have two options:
Generate Link (you get a link you can forward to right person)
Send email (type the email you want to receive the link)
Send a notification within the platform (if the suppliers is logged into the platform).
Task Status. Here you can find status on whether the link has been open and if there has been filled out information.
You are now ready to collect data via SmartLinks
How to create a link for multiple documents?
Keep in mind: If there are different suppliers on the documents you select the system will generate links for each supplier with their given documents.
Go to list of documents (products, batches, packaging etc.) and select the given documents with the blue checkmark.
Click the bottom "External Data Enrichment"
Click "Start new enrichment process"

Choose data attributes. You can choose for all the documents or specify for each. We recommend to filter on data model, so you only see the attributes in the given data model.
Set a deadline.
Generate link. You have two options:
Generate Link (you get a link you can forward to right person)
Send email (type the email you want to receive the link)
Send a notification within the platform (if the suppliers is logged into the platform).
Task Status. Here you can find status on whether the link has been open and if there has been filled out information.

How to find an overview of the links that has been send out?
There a several ways to find an overview/status of the links you have created.
On the list of documents (etc. the product list):
Click the bottom "External Data Enrichment" in top right corner.
Go to tab number five "Tasks statuses".
Here you find a searchable list of all the links for that given document.
On a single document (etc. a specific product):
Find the specific document.
Click the bottom "External Data Enrichment" in top right corner.
Here is a list of all active and previously links. You can see the status of each or cancel the active link (this is needed before you create a new link).
I get the message "One or more documents chosen already have an ongoing enrichment process"?
You can only have one active link at the time on a document. If you want to create a new link, you have to make the current active link active. Do this by clicking the bottom "External Data Enrichment" on the given document and cancel it.
If your suppliers are new to receiving links for data enrichment? We recommend that you make a custom email and paste the link there.
