How to create new users, what the user roles are, and how to connect them to loans!

Step One: Creating a User

In the top left corner of the screen, click on Contacts.

From the contacts page, in the top right corner you can create a new user by clicking + New User.

After clicking + New User you will be prompted to choose what kind of user you would like to create. Typically there are three options: Realtor, Processor, and Loan Officer. If you are a Corporate Manager you can add another Corporate Manager.

***NOTE*** Pre-Approve Me team members are the only people who can add an Admin.

The purpose of the Admin is mostly to set up integrations. If you would like to add an admin to your team simply click the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of the screen and message one of our team members to set an Admin account for your team up for you.

After selecting the type of user you would like to add you will be prompted to fill in some basic information. If you would like to view a more in depth guide about creating users, click Here.

Step Two: Attaching Users to a Loan

From inside of a loan, on the right side of the Loan Dashboard, scroll down to Connected Users. Under Connected Users you will see which Loan Officer, Realtor, and which Processor is connected to the loan. You will also see the options for Buyer's Agent and Buyer's Agent Team.

If you would like to add a person any one of the above categories, simply click Attach Loan Officer, Attach Processor, Attach Buyer's Agent, or Attach Realtor depending on which position you want to fill in.

After clicking either Attach Loan Officer, Attach Processor, Attach Buyer's Agent, or Attach Realtor a box will pop up with all of the names you have access to. Using the list you can either choose one of the existing names or if the person is you are attaching is not on the list, click New User.***NOTE*** Using the New User button will allow you to create a user in the system in general as well as automatically attach the created user to the loan.

Step Three: Additional Recipients List:

From the Loan Dashboard click on Milestones in the center of the dashboard.

If you want additional people to receive notifications, from the Milestones page scroll down to Extra Notification Recipients box. On the right side of the box click the + symbol.

After clicking the + symbol, boxes prompting you to fill in basic information will pop up in the Extra Notification Recipients box. The new recipient will get a notification when you've finished setting up this portion.

Step Four: Notifications

After setting up the notification recipients, go to the bottom left corner of the page and click on the gear icon to access your Settings.

After clicking Settings a box will pop up prompting you to choose between Personal Settings or Company Settings. Personal Settings will change things for your own settings. Choosing Company Settings will allow you to change things for the whole company.

After choosing the settings, using the menu on the left side of the screen, click on Notifications under System Defaults.

From the Notifications page you'll see several categories with options you can toggle on for each user. Adjust your notifications and click Save.
