How to build the Conditions Engine and tie specific borrower data to a request for loan conditions.

Step One: From the bottom left corner of the Dashboard, click on the gear icon and go to Settings.

Step Two: After clicking Settings, a box will pop up prompting you to choose between Company Settings and Personal Settings. If you choose Company Settings you will be able to change settings for the entire company, if you choose Personal Settings you will only be changing things for yourself.

Step Three: From the menu on the left side of the screen, under System Config, click on Conditions Engine.

Step Four: There are several default rules in the Conditions Engine that will show up. If you would like edit one of the existing rules, click on the pencil icon the the right of the chosen rule.

Step Five: If you would like to create custom rules, click on the Create New Rule button above the pencil icons.

Step Six: After clicking Create New Rule a box will pop up. First enter the rule title.

Step Seven: After entering the title, click on Edit Trigger.

Step Eight: When you click Edit Trigger, click the dropdown menu to reveal the different trigger selections. Choose the option that makes sense for your new condition. Click Done.

Step Nine: After setting up the trigger for the new condition rule, click on Edit Activation.

Step Ten: Clicking Edit Activation will open a menu with three different dropdown menus. Under Value click the dropdown menu and select the value you would like to connect to this action.

Step Eleven: From the selection of dropdown menus, under Operator choose the option from the dropdown menu that suits your needs best. Click Done.

Step Twelve: Using the Target dropdown menu, choose the loan type for this action.

Step Thirteen: Click on Edit Actions.

Step Fourteen: After clicking Edit Actions, click +Add an Action.

Step Fifteen: After clicking +Add an Action a menu will pop up, using the Action dropdown menu choose if you would like to Add Tagged Conditions to Loan or Add Condition to Loan.

Step Sixteen: Using the Search bar, you can search for any existing set of tags.

Step Seventeen: If you do not have a set of tags you would like to add, but would like to add tags, simply click on the + symbol by any tag you would like to add. Click Done after you have selected any tags you would like to add.

Step Eighteen: After completing these steps, click on Save and Close in the top right corner of the box.
