Compliance Settings in Pre-Approve Me

How to adjust your compliance settings in Pre-Approve Me.

Step One: In the lower left corner of the screen, click the gear icon.

Step Two: A menu will come up with several options, from here choose if you would like to go into Company Settings in order to edit things for the whole company, or My Settings to edit your own settings.

Step Three: The menu on the left side of the screen contains most of the settings. The majority of the compliance settings will be under System Defaults.

Step Four: Click the first Compliance and Disclaimers under System Defaults.

This is where all of the different disclaimers are located. Most of the disclaimers won't need to be edited, but it is always important to make sure they meet your company's standards.

On the right side menu, there are several toggles with different options such as Show Equal Housing Lender Logo, Show Equal Housing Opportunity Logo, Show FDIC Logo, Show Interest Rate, and several more.

If you would like to make sure that the options you toggle on or off follow down to the other Loan Officers in the company, click the lock icon next to the toggle buttons.

After you click the lock, a dropdown menu will pop up, select either Lock or Overwrite Default Setting.
To Lock the setting means it will overwrite settings that exist on accounts below yours and any users under you cannot change the setting.
โ€‹Overwrite Default Setting changes the settings for all accounts under yours, but still allows them to change the setting to their preference.

Step Five: Under System Defaults there are several other tabs that are important to go through. Loan Templates, Loan Applications, Pre-Approval Letters, and Notifications.

Each of these tabs have areas that can be toggled on and off. It is very important to go through each tab in order to make sure the preset settings align with your company.

All tabs under System Defaults utilize the Lock feature seen in Step Four.

Step Six: One of the tabs under System Defaults is Pre-Approval Letters. Inside the Pre-Approval Letters tab click on Edit Letter Template.

Clicking Edit Letter Template will bring up a new tab, inside this tab you can do many things with the Pre-Approval Letters, including creating templates. Compliance loves PAM's Pre-Approval Letter system due to have easy it is to customize so that it is compliant with your company standards. Step Seven: When checking all of your compliance settings, it is important to check the Rates tab under System Config.

The Rates tab utilizes the Lock feature previously seen above.

Step Eight: Under System Config it is also important to check the Terms tab for compliance reasons.

Terms

In this tab it is important to check the language of the terms. If the language does not align with your company standards, simply change the language.

You can also delete the term using the trashcan symbol on the right side of the term.

Step Nine: In the bottom left corner of the screen, click on the hammer icon to access the Company Profile.

From the Company Profile, there are three tabs in the left hand menu that have to do with compliance settings.

The Primary tab covers all of the Company's basic information, such as the company name, licenses, and more.

Address is where you add the company address.

Contacts is where you add any business contacts that might be

The Administration tab covers the size of your company as well as your integration type.
