This article applies to all Hire users in the PI2 platform.
Ready to move a candidate to the interview phase? Use the Interviewer Feedback page to circulate interview questions and then capture feedback post-interview.
In this article, we'll explain how to equip members of your hiring team with interview questions, request their feedback on a candidate, and more.
Tip: Still need to review/finalize interview questions for this candidate? Do so using the Interview Builder tool, then return to this page once ready.
Note: The Interviewer Feedback page is currently in beta and may be changed or removed in the future.
How to access the Interviewer Feedback page
Log in to the PI software.
Select Hire from the top navigation bar.
You will land on the Hiring Center.
Select the job for which you're conducting interviews.
Click the "Candidates" tab (if not already selected).
Select a candidate you'd like to interview.
You will land on the candidate's page.
Select the "Interview Builder" tab.
Select "Interviewer Feedback" on the left-hand side.
You will land on the Interviewer Feedback page.
Note: The Interviewer Feedback page is currently in beta and may be changed or removed in the future.
How to request interview feedback
From the Interviewer Feedback page:
Enter the email address(es) of the interviewer(s) you'd like to include on this candidate's interview.
(Optional) Choose whether to include the Interview Guide as part of your request. (This resource includes the candidate's behavioral fit data, along with a list of interview questions determined using the Interview Builder.)
Click "Request feedback" to send out your feedback request(s).
Your feedback request(s) will be sent out via email. (If you opted to include the Interview Guide, it will be included as a PDF attachment.)
You should see a "Success" message in the bottom-right corner.
Any interviewers you invited for feedback will appear at the top of the page. Their interview notes will show as pending until they submit their notes.
(Optional) If you need to remove an interviewer from the list, you can do so by clicking the trash can icon next to their name. (If they try to submit feedback after having been removed, they will receive an error that says: "Oops! This is an invalid link.")
(Optional) Similarly, if you would like to request feedback from additional interviewers, you can request their feedback at any time.
Note: Interviewers do not need access to PI Hire to share feedback. Feel free to invite employees regardless of whether they have a PI software account.
Previewing the email that gets sent to interviewers
When an interviewer is invited to share feedback, they will receive an email from noreply@mailer.predictiveindex.com with the following subject line:
Action Required: Interview Feedback for [Candidate Name]
The email will explain that you have requested that this person share interview feedback for a selected candidate, in the context of a specific job role.
If you chose to include the Interview Guide as part of your outreach:
The email will include copy explaining the guide's purpose.
The email will then prompt the interviewer to provide feedback following the interview (with a few tips before they begin).
If you excluded the Interview Guide as part of your outreach:
You will see an abridged version of the above email, inviting the interviewer to provide feedback following the interview (with a few tips before they begin).
Where do interviewers submit their feedback?
Once an interviewer clicks "Provide feedback" on their email invite, they're brought to a dedicated webpage to share their thoughts.
Note: This webpage lives outside the PI software and thus does not require software access to use. Feel free to invite interviewers to share feedback, even if they don't have a PI account.
They will be asked to share their name and email (if we don't already have those details), along with their relationship to the job.
On the next page, they will be presented with some details about the candidate, including name and Reference Profile. (If the interviewer is unfamiliar with Reference Profiles, they can click the profile name to learn more.)
They will then be prompted to share their thoughts. If they're unsure of how to phrase or deliver their feedback, we also have a resource, Best practices on giving interview feedback, which they can reference at any time.
Once the interviewer is finished and hits "Submit," the notes will be sent to PI Hire, where you'll be able to review them.
Summarizing interviewer feedback
As interviewer notes populate in Hire, you're free to review each person's notes individually. That said, you may wish to review feedback more quickly, especially if you find yourself sifting through paragraphs of notes.
We've included an AI summary feature, which we'll hope will help you easily identify commonalities between different interviewers.
Note: To generate an AI summary, you must have at least 2 sets of interviewer notes. Otherwise, there won't be enough content to summarize effectively.
To generate an AI summary:
Click the "Generate AI summary" button at the top of the Interviewer Feedback page.
A spinning wheel will appear, communicating that a summary is being generated.
An AI summary will be generated based on any interview feedback summitted.
In this summary, you'll be able to view:
The date the summary was generated. (You can always generate a new summary if/when new interviewer feedback is submitted.)
A list of interview highlights from each interviewer.
A summary of the collective feedback, plus a summarized list of strengths and potential cautions.
A summary of how the overall interviewer feedback compares to the candidate's actual Behavioral Assessment results, as well as the actual Behavioral Target for the role.
Tip: Want to learn more about how the "Assessment vs. Interview Comparison" data is generated? Click here to learn more.
Finally, you'll see a disclaimer that AI-generated content should always be checked for accuracy. You'll also see a thumbs up/down feedback mechanism, which you can use to help us steadily improve this tool.

I'd like to add interview questions before sending out the Interview Guide. Where do I do that?
You can add custom interview questions using the Interview Builder tool. Any questions you add for a candidate will automatically be added to the Interview Guide that is shared with interviewers.
I forgot to include the Interview Guide when requesting feedback from an interviewer. Can I still send it?
I forgot to include the Interview Guide when requesting feedback from an interviewer. Can I still send it?
Yes. There are 2 ways you can share the Interview Guide after the fact:
You can delete the pending interview feedback request, then submit a fresh request.
You can email the candidate's Interview Guide to the interviewer.
Regardless of which option you pick, we recommend reaching out to the interviewer to let them know to expect a follow-up email containing the Interview Guide.
The "Generate AI summary" button is greyed out. Why?
The "Generate AI summary" button is greyed out. Why?
There are a few reasons why the "Generate AI summary" button may be greyed out.
Not enough interviewers have provided feedback. PI Hire requires at least 2 sets of interviewer notes to generate an AI summary.
The content was too brief to summarize. If you have 2 sets of notes, but the button is still greyed out, it likely means the content was too brief to summarize. We recommend gathering additional feedback from other interviewers before trying to summarize.
You've already summarized the data. In this case, you won't be able to generate a new summary unless a new interviewer submits feedback.
An interviewer shared thoughts after I generated an AI summary. Will the summary automatically update?
An interviewer shared thoughts after I generated an AI summary. Will the summary automatically update?
No. To incorporate the new interviewer's thoughts, you'll want to generate a new AI summary. Doing so will create a new summary based on up-to-date feedback.
Does the AI summary support non-English languages?
