We’ve just launched a new release packed with updates to make product discovery and search configuration even more powerful:

REVIEWS.io integration: easily enable product reviews directly in our product tiles
Search result preview: product suggestions now update dynamically when hovering over keyword suggestions in the desktop search bar
Search bar layout updates: grid display, View All button, and drag-and-drop editor
Homepage redesign: new theme selector on embed tiles for a clearer overview of Prefixbox activation
Filter interaction options: choose between automatic filter application or apply-on-click

2025 September 19 - Color palettes, grid filters & more

We’verolled out new filter types to make product discovery easier and more intuitive:

🎨 Color palette – show colors as swatches, not plain text, so shoppers instantly see the right shade.
➕ Grid selector – perfect for quick comparison of values like volume, weight, or dimensions.
🔘 Single-value filters – ideal for attributes where only one choice makes sense (e.g. Size or Fit).

But that’s not all
- Color mapping - unifing similar values (like navy, dark blue, royal blue) into a single clean option (Blue).
- Manual Range filter controls – set minimum and maximum values when needed.

These updates help shoppers find what they want faster, and make your filters cleaner, smarter, and more effective.

Simplified Navigation - We’ve redesigned the menu structure to group all key configurations under one place, making setup faster and easier.
Pagination Customization - Choose between infinite scrolling, progressive loading or numbered pagination. You can also set how many products to show per page and customize pagination labels.
Always-Open Search Bar - Using a fullscreen or drawer-style search? Now you can keep it always open, improving usability and engagement.
New sorting options - Sort by most recently added or updated products
New default variant imagesIf a product variant doesn’t have its own image, it now defaults to the master product image automatically.

2025 May 21 - Multi-Language store support

Prefixbox AI now supports multi-language stores.
If your store runs in multiple languages, you can now manage them under the ‘Languages’ menu in the Prefixbox app. There, you can customize all labels (including filters, sorting options, and more) for each language.
