Will Prefixbox AI Search & Filter mess up my store's design?
No. Additionally, you can preview every change in the theme editor before setting applying it to your live store.
We recommend duplicating your store's active theme, so that you can thoroughly test changes.
To do this, please follow these steps:
Select “Sales channels” > “Online store” on the lefthand navigation bar.
Under “Themes”, duplicate your store’s active theme.
After the duplication is complete, click “Customize”.
Go back to the Prefixbox application and select “Activate modules”.
⚠️ Prefixbox Integration Core Required for both extensions below.⚠️
Select the theme you previously duplicated, then click the “Activate” button. The application will redirect you and will automatically activate Prefixbox AI Search and Prefixbox Category Pages. Hide the Shopify default search and product grid on collection pages and be sure to save your changes.

New features are released regularly.
Is there a delay in indexing products when I update my product feed?
The frequency of automatic product catalog indexing varies based on your Prefixbox plan. Based on your plan, automatic re-syncs occur every 3 to 24 hours.
You can manually trigger an index by using the "Force sync" button at any time.
This is useful when adding or editing a large number of products. Force sync takes a few minutes to process, after which the updated products will appear in your search modules.
Are filters added using "AND" or "OR" operators?
By default, different filters are combined using the "AND" operator, while multiple values within the same filter use the "OR" operator. You cannot change this setting.
For example, let's say you have 2 filters: color and size.
You apply color filter "black", and size filter "M", "L".
The results will display black items in either size M or L.
Why are some of my products not displayed in the search results although they are added under Shopify's Product menu?
This may happen because those products are not in stock.
By default, Prefixbox AI Search & Filter app hides out-of-stock items.
However, you can change this setting under Product Catalog menu - Stock management.
Alternatively, you may have just updated your product feed. For the changes to go live instantly, you should "Force Sync" your product catalog.
Why does my search display results that are not relevant?
You can optimize your search engine's settings under the Relevance menu.
Modify search weights based on the quality of your product attributes.
For example, if your product descriptions are optimized, assign a "High" weight to that field. Otherwise, you should lower its weight in order not to negatively impact search result relevance.
