Sometimes EA item codes need to be updated across the Global Item Configuration Accessories. For example, you may receive a request that states:
Remove 497N05470 replace with 497N07166
One way to do this is to open all accessories that use this item and update the item code manually. However, there is a much more efficient way to handle this request.
Open the Global Item Catalog
Select "Wizard: Item Code Swap"
Enter the existing EA Item
ex. 497N05470
Enter the new EA Item
ex. 497N07166
Click Update
PREO will now iterate through the Item Catalog and update the Item codes.
