What is the PreOrder Now Back in stock alerts?

As we all know Preorder Now is always trying to improve its app to give the best customer support and development to our merchants.

That’s why today we are releasing the most requested feature called Back in Stock Alerts.

In this new feature, Back-in-stock alerts will enable Shopify stores the ability to set a notification button where shoppers will enter their email address to activate notifications once the product is back in stock. The customer will be able to activate or de-activate the notifications whenever they want.

The merchant will be able to customize the button and the email text making it easier to reach the customer. It's a win-win for both the store owner (you) and your customers.

In this new feature, shoppers will see a button that says “NOTIFY ME!” as a default on the items that have the notification active and that are no longer available for pre-order and are currently out of stock in your inventory.

​How it Works

After you click on the button, a pop-up window form will appear with options to enter your email to be notified once the product is back in stock.

After the email is entered, shoppers just have to click on the 'Notify Me' button. That's it. It's as simple as that!

Once the product is back in stock, the shopper will receive an email notification that it's time to purchase the product!

Shopify store owners can find this under the tab called Notifications in the Shopify dashboard under the Pre-order Now app!

In the Notifications section of the app, stores will be able to see all the subscribed customers and enable the subscriptions, activate the recurring notifications, and also delete the customer from getting the updates!

The customer also will be able to unsubscribe using the email link.

To set the 'Notify Me' when back in stock button, go to the settings tab which will access your default setting to enable or disable the setting. Stores can also customize the text, color, and message preferences.

This new back-in-stock alert feature will make it easier to reach customers and keep them in your sales funnel even when your inventory is low or depleted.
