Achievements are a way to recognize participation and outstanding work on the PreprLabs platform. This article provides a full run-down on the different kinds of achievements available on PreprLabs.

Learn Rank: Your Learn Rank is an accumulation of points that you earn through your activity on the PreprLabs Network. This rank demonstrates the time and energy spent and the knowledge gained throughout your learning journey.

Activity Award: Previously called Skills, you can earn Activity Awards for various uses of the network and represent the specific and tangible skills you have learned while completing the tasks required of you by a Challenge or Lab, or through other uses of the PreprLabs Network.

Award: A Challenge or Lab Manager may choose to give a user an Award as recognition for standing out in their performance or demonstration of skill.

Microcredentials: You can earn micro-credentials in one of two ways, by participating in certain Challenges, or by winning certain Challenges. The type of Microcredential awarded for each Challenge is decided upon by the Challenge Manager and demonstrates the achievement and project success of the user.
