In PreprLabs, tasks are items attached to a Challenge which users check off as they work on their project. Tasks are usually small pieces of work related to the Challenge's subject matter, such as reading the description, forming a team, or getting in touch with a stakeholder.
Some Challenges require you to check off all tasks before you can submit your project. You will know if this is the case based on the criteria section in your project's page.
Managers can set, change, or remove tasks in the Pitch & Assessment step of the Challenge edit interface.
