All organizations on PreprLabs have plans. These determine which features your team can access, how many users your organization can invite, and how many assets you can use and create on the platform.

For a detailed view of Plans & Subscriptions, see this page on PreprLabs.

Plan limits

Each plan provides limits for the following assets:

  • Users

  • Managers

  • Pre-Built Labs

  • Custom Labs

  • Lab Programs

  • Challenges

  • Challenge Paths

  • Resource Modules

  • Resource Collections

  • Resource Groups

For a more detailed view of these limits, see the Plans & Subscriptions page.

Plan tiers

At the moment, we offer five plan tiers, each with increasing asset limits and feature access:

  • Seed: This plan is a great way to get to know the platform, and is completely free of charge.

  • Sprout: This plan is great for small teams with 25 or more users in mind.

  • Budd: This plan is our most popular, best for organizations planning for 50 or more users.

  • Bloom: This plan is great for enterprise users and educational institutions, and is well suited for 150 or more users.

  • Enterprise: This plan is great for large organizations with a very large number of users in mind. Selecting this plan puts you in touch with our sales team, who will help come up with a solution that fits your exact needs.

Free trials on registration

When you register your organization, you are prompted to pick a plan. This starts a 14-day free trial at the tier you choose.

Once this trial period ends, you have the option of either continuing at that tier at a paid level, or downgrading back to the free tier. Note that if you choose to downgrade, any assets that you have created above the free tier's limits will be locked until you upgrade again.

Tracking usage

You can see where your usage stands against your plan's limits via the Limits Popup, which is visible on the following pages:

Create/edit pages

  • Labs

  • Challenges

  • Resources

  • Organizations

You can also view this information in the Subscriptions card, visible in the Lab Dashboard and the Organization Dashboard.

Add-ons

You can extend your plan's asset limits at any time, using the Add-ons feature. This lets you purchase additional room for:

  • Managers

  • Pre-Built Labs

  • Custom Labs

  • Lab Programs

  • Challenges

  • Challenge Paths

  • Resource Modules

  • Resource Collections

  • Resource Groups

For a more detailed view of these add-ons, see the Plans & Subscriptions page.
