Challenges cloned from templates can be edited like regular Challenges. To edit such a Challenge, navigate to its page on PreprLabs, click the Manage button in the top-right corner, and select Edit Challenge.

This will open an editing interface much like that of a regular Challenge. Unlike custom Challenges, however, many fields in your cloned Challenge will be un-editable. With cloned Challenges, you can modify the following fields:

  • Status: (open/closed) Whether the cloned Challenge accepts submissions.

  • Privacy of Challenge: (public/private) Whether the cloned Challenge is visible from search, or requires an invite to be seen.

  • Privacy of submitted projects: (public/private) Whether submissions to the cloned Challenge can be seen by other users.

  • Eligibility requirements: Conditions that projects and team members must meet in order for their submissions to be accepted.

  • Timeline: Deadlines surrounding this cloned Challenge.

  • Sponsors: Key supporters of this cloned Challenge.

  • Agreement: The terms of project submission.

  • Resources: Resources attached to this cloned Challenge.

Alter these fields as required, and then hit Update Challenge. You have now edited your cloned Challenge.
