After you uploaded your resume or decided to skip that step for now, you will automatically navigate to What Career are you pursuing?

On this page, you will have the option to enter one or more job titles for the next job in your career path. PreprLabs will respond by suggesting related jobs.

Whether you have or have not uploaded your resume, you will be given the option to identify additional skills which you possess. All of the skills which has been extracted from your resume plus what you have added will be used by PreprLabs to determine your closeness-of-fit to your targeted job or jobs. For this reason, it is important to identify as many skills as possible.

To add a skill, type in the skill name in Search Skill and click on the 'Add' button. When you have completed adding your skills, click on 'You Are All Set' button.

To help you shortlist your targeted jobs from what you have created plus what PreprLabs has suggested in terms of related jobs, click on the 9-square button and then select Skills.

Under the Jobs tab, to shortlist your job selection, click on the orange pin to the right of the job title that you want to save as a favorite (aka Pinned Jobs). Pinned jobs contain the job title, a brief job description and a list of the key skills.

Now that you have shortlisted your target jobs, you are now ready to investigate the skills required for each of your targeted jobs.
