Once you’ve launched a Lab or Challenge, it’s good to keep track of its performance. This article will show you how to do that, using the reporting features available in PreprLabs.

View a Lab's Reports

Start by finding the Lab you want the reports for by navigating through the the Lab Management page.

Need help finding your Labs? See this article for a guide on finding Labs within your organization.

Once you have found your Lab, click on the Manage dropdown, and select Generate Report. This will download a XLSX Spreadsheet File containing the following set data points:

  • Number of participants

  • Participation status (not started, in progress, completed)

  • Number of assets attached (Challenges, resources, projects)

  • Engagement, broken down by Challenge

  • Engagement, broken down by user

These metrics are a great way to see who is participating versus who needs more encouragement, as well as which Challenges are most popular.

View a Challenge's Reports

Grabbing reports for a Challenge is very similar to the reporting process for Labs.

Start by browsing for your Challenge in the Challenge Management interface. Once you have found your Challenge, click on the Manage dropdown, and select Generate Report. This will present you with an option to download your report as an XLSX or PDF.

Reports generated from this view will contain data about each project submitted to the Challenge.
