What is a token?
A token is a credit that unlocks one full deep analysis on Preuve AI (Formerly Test Your Idea). Each token gives you access to:
Geo-targeted competitor analysis
Market sizing with real sources (TAM, SAM, SOM)
Pricing confidence vs competitors
Break-even timeline and funding roadmap
Risk assessment and fix playbook
Investor scorecard
How do I buy tokens?
You can purchase tokens from the report page or your account dashboard. Three options are available:
1 token - $29
5 tokens - $79 (save 39%)
10 tokens - $119 (save 49%)
Tokens are one-time payments. No subscription, no recurring charge.
How do I use a token?
Once you have tokens on your account, they are applied automatically when you unlock a deep analysis. You will see your token balance in your account under Billing.
Do tokens expire? Do unused subscription tokens carry over?
One-time tokens never expire. Tokens you purchase outright (1-pack, 5-pack, 10-pack) stay on your account until you use them.
Subscription behavior depends on your plan type:
Monthly plans (Radar Pro, Builder): the tokens granted each billing cycle are added to your token balance. Unused tokens carry over to the next month and never expire while your subscription is active.
Lifetime plans (Lifetime Pro, Lifetime Business): you get a fixed number of scans per month. The counter resets at each billing cycle, so unused scans for that month do not roll over.
If you cancel a subscription, any tokens already added to your balance stay on your account.
How many times can I use one token?
One token unlocks one deep analysis. From there, the same paid report gives you free ways to iterate without spending another token:
Smart Pivots - up to 3 on a standard Founder Report. Smart Pivots automatically generate improved versions of your idea based on the weaknesses found in the report. No token cost.
Manual Refine - 1 free per paid report on non-subscription accounts. In the app, open Improve this score → Manual Edit tab and pick the Refine option (then click Re-analyze Report). It re-runs the report logic on your saved competitor and community data. Useful for small edits to your pitch, positioning, or target customer. Active subscriptions may include more manual edits.
Smart Pivots and Manual Refine are separate features. Both reuse the saved market data from your existing report, they do not pull new live data.
If you change the idea enough that the market, competitors, or audience are different, use a Start New Scan instead (see below). A new scan uses 1 token because it pulls new live data.
Can I use a token to re-scan an idea from scratch?
Yes. Use Start New Scan when you have significantly changed the idea, target customer, or market and need new competitor and community data. A new scan pulls brand new live data and uses 1 token.
For smaller wording, pitch, or positioning changes, use the Refine option in the Manual Edit tab of Improve this score if it is available on your report. Refine uses the saved market data from the existing report, so it is not the same as a new scan.
