In case you're wondering why your deposit still hasn't been credited, you can use this article as some general information for newcomers to the world of cryptocurrencies.
We'll take Bitcoin as an example, as it's most popular and most widely used. Crypto transactions are handled by the blockchain, so if it's pending, that is in no way related to Primedice.
Primedice requires a certain number of confirmations on the network depending on the coin you choose, and this information can be seen on your deposit page. For Bitcoin for example, that's 1 confirmation.
To track the status of your deposit, you can go to your transactions page here. If the status says Pending/Retry, that means your transaction is unconfirmed. By clicking on the "View" button, it will lead you to the network page related to that transaction. We currently use Blockcypher for this, and you can see the number of confirmations on the right side of the screen:
The amount of time it takes for a transaction to get confirmed can vary quite a bit, and it depends on several factors related to the network itself, none of which we can influence on our end. You as a user have one way to speed this up, and that would be to increase the fee when sending it from your wallet, and that will in turn give miners more incentive to include your transaction in the next block. That however cannot be done for transactions that are already in progress, so only for future ones.
More in-depth information on what exactly constitutes a confirmation, and technical explanation how all this works is beyond the scope of this article, so we'll defer from elaborating that.
Furthermore, all coins have their own intrinsic way in terms of how transactions are handled, some take longer and others are nearly instant such as EOS, TRX and XRP for example.
