Mutually agreeable deals (MADs)

Introduction

MADs are a way to send out an offer before any specific hold dates have materialized. This allows you to get aligned on the cash-side of the deal without worrying about calendar management until later. Starting an offer as a MAD doesn't change anything about how you will manage this show once it's confirmed.

How to build a MAD

  • The simplest way is to build your offer by starting with the plus sign button on the left-hand sidebar or the "Add Event" button from the calendar.

  • From here, fill out the hold builder on the right without selecting any dates on the calendar. Once you're ready, click "Save" at the bottom of the hold builder. You can navigate to the event through the button that will appear momentarily at the bottom of your screen.

  • The offer will generate with a Mutually Agreeable headline (pictured below). (Note that offers with multiple holds will also generate with a Mutually Agreeable Headline, unless target dates are selected on the holds.)

**Note: If an event is duplicated, it will be created as a MAD, with no dates assigned to it. Click the blue 'Go To Event' button, pictured above, and assign dates using the date pill underneath the event title, if needed.

How to find MADs in Prism

Utilize the event list view to see MADs since they are not placed on the calendar. The quickest way to see all MADs is to sort by Date: "All" and use the Sort button next to the filter to Sort with all of the MADs at the top of your list. Make sure that "Include MAD" is checked when you are viewing this list. If you know the name of the MAD, you could use Search bar here as well.

Add Dates to a MAD

When you are ready to add hold dates to your MAD, go to the event page and click on the calendar icon in the header to select the dates. If you need to adjust the hold levels, go to the three dot menu in the top right corner of the event and select "Manage Holds" to manage the hold levels on your calendar.
