Applying Event Templates
Event Templates are useful for pulling in basic details on every offer like ticket scaling, costs, deal terms and more. Learn more about creating Event Templates here.
There are a couple of places where you can apply an Event Template to a hold or a confirmed event.
From the Calendar
When creating a new hold, click the "Create From Template (Optional)" dropdown and select which template to apply to your event. Note that only the templates for the respective event type (Regular/Talent Show vs OP Event/Rental) will appear in the 'Create From Template (Optional)' dropdown in the show builder.
From an Event
Go to the three dot menu in the top right corner of the Event
Hover over "Event Templates"
Select "Apply Event Template"
Select a template from the dropdown menu on the pop up
Select "Import" (Note that you can select which sections of the template you would like to import by using the check boxes.)
Notes on Applying Event Templates
Friendly reminder that applying an Event Template will replace all data in the event with data from the template. Be sure there isn't anything in the event that you do not want to lose! Once the template is applied, previous data cannot be restored.
Applying Task Templates
Apply a Task Template on an Event
Go to the three dot menu in the top right corner of the Event
Hover over "Event Templates"
Select "Apply Task Template"
Select a template from the dropdown menu on the pop up
Select "Import Tasks"
Notes on Applying Task Templates
Task Templates are additive and do not overwrite existing data.
If a Task Template has assignees, be sure those assignees have access to the event - otherwise, they won't be assigned.
If a Task Template has a relative due date (e.g., 5 days from Announce date), the date will only be applied if the relative date has been entered on the Event Page under Event Settings.
