Save an Event as a Template

If you would like to save an existing event's build (including ticket scaling, costs, run of show, etc.) as a template so that you can reuse it in the future, click on the 3 dot menu in the top right corner of an Event > Event Templates> Create Event Template. Then name the template and hit Save. This template will now be saved in Organization Settings and will be able to be applied to new events. Note that the template will be either a Regular/Talent Deal template or a Rental Deal template based on which type of event the template is Saved from.

With templates access or Admin access, you can make edits to an existing template, by going to Settings > Templates > Event Templates.

Note that you can now Duplicate events in the one off scenarios where you may want to copy all of the details of an event.

Copy an Event Template

The concept described above can be applied when you are looking to Copy a template as well. Let's say you have a template that has all of your cost information filled out as you would like it but you want to make a version with some tweaks to the deal build. Follow the steps below to create a "dummy" event (an event that will be deleted at the end of this process) and save it as a template.

  1. Create a new event and name it "Test"

  2. Apply the Event Template with the information you would like to replicate to the event by going to the 3 dot menu at the top right of the Event > Event Templates > Apply Event Template.

  3. Make the updates you would like to the event.

  4. Click on the 3 dot menu in the top right bar of the Event > Event Templates> Create Event Template. Then name your Template and hit Save.

  5. Delete the "Test" event

Your Template will now be available to be applied to future events!
