Do you work in multiple Prism accounts as a promoter with access to a venue? Or do you have both an agency and promoter/venue Prism account?

Whatever the case may be, if you have access to multiple Prism accounts, you may be frequently logging in and out of each or trying to log into both at the same time to view certain information side-by side.

If you're tired of switching between accounts, wrangling incognito windows, or logging out and logging back in with browser caching issues, keep reading for a more sustainable option...

You can set up a Google Chrome profile for each email/username you use for Prism to avoid logging out every time you need to switch accounts.

It'll take a few minutes of set-up time, but once it's set up you're done! Follow the instructions below to set up your Chrome Profiles and Prism bookmarks.

STEP 1: Add a Google Chrome Profile

Link to Google Chrome support article here for further info.

  1. On your computer, open Google Chrome

  2. At the top right, click on the Profile icon

  3. Click Add

  4. If you choose to Sync to your Google Account, your profile name will automatically be your Account name

  5. Choose a name, photo and color scheme

  6. Login to Prism with one of your Prism logins

If you choose to turn sync on in Chrome with a Google Account for the new profile, your bookmarks, history, passwords and other settings will sync automatically.

STEP 2: Set up Prism bookmarks in each Chrome profile

  1. Click on the profile you want to use

  2. Navigate to app.prism.fm

  3. Bookmark app.prism.fm on your Chrome bookmarks bar

  4. Log into Prism using the same email as the Chrome profile you're using (so if this profile is linked to your venue email, log into Prism with the same email)

  5. Allow Chrome to save your password for easy switching

  6. Repeat these steps for your second Chrome profile

STEP 3: Switch between Chrome profiles

  1. On your computer, open Chrome

  2. At the top right, click Profile

  3. Choose the profile you want to switch to

Once these steps are complete, switching between Chrome profiles will allow you to open up Prism from two different windows. With Prism bookmarked and your credentials saved on each, you can access your accounts super easily (e.g. one for your venue account and one for your promoter account).

It's also a cool way to keep your bookmarks and tabs organized between two workflows!
