Preferences - Total Price

Written by Arleen E.

Total Price setting is only available in the Channel-based monitoring style.

Default: "No".

This preference allows Prisync to display the total price (item price+shipping cost) collected through automated Google Shopping tracking.

If you choose “Yes”, an additional column will appear on the Products page.

A separate sheet will also appear on the Excel/CSV report. Depending on the tracked country, the total price may include the item price, delivery fee, and applicable taxes.

Two additional settings will appear when you choose to enable the Total Price:

Show Total Price as

↳ As it appears on channel

This displays the final Total price shown on the sales channel, just like the example below.

*For the United States and Canada, Google states that taxes such as VAT or sales tax should not be included in the price attribute or any other attributes. Instead, applicable taxes are displayed at checkout, which is why you see “+tax” in the sample above.

For countries outside the United States and Canada, taxes such as VAT or GST should be included in the price attribute.

↳ Calculate as price + shipping

As of July 2025, Google Merchant Center has removed the field of "Est. tax" in the United States and Canada targeted markets.

Based on Google's policies, applicable taxes will be displayed on checkout pages instead, making this option obsolete.

Deduct the Additional Cost from SmartPrice

Default: "No".

The Additional Cost field can be used to enter fixed shipping fees or any other extra charges. If you want these costs to be excluded from the SmartPrice calculation, simply select "Yes".
