Sometimes users notice that their Privy software looks different than what they've seen in videos or our live training. There are a couple of main reasons why that may be happening.

1. You're looking at a mobile-optimized version of Privy.

Privy is designed to adjust the screen functionality based on the size of the screen. This is most evident when a user views Privy on their mobile device like a phone or tablet. We adjust the user interface to fit a small screen for usability reasons. The main thing is that there just isn't enough room to make all the features fit. The main difference is that the left-hand side main menu moves to the top of the screen. Also, the "Deals Bar" that includes the ability to find investor activity is not displayed as well as our "FIND similar active deals" button.

2. The other major reason is that you're logged into a "Classic" version of Privy.

When we launched the newest version of Privy we kept the classic version for people who wanted to transition to the new version at their own pace. There's a link to access it in the left-hand main navigation bar at the bottom.
