The overview box will enable the user to move to any part of the map by selecting it on the overview box. This eases the overall navigation across the map.

The overview box displays a small representation of the entire map:

Quick Steps to Enable or Disable the Overview Box when Creating/ Editing/ Viewing a Process:

  1. Open a process or value stream

  2. In the bottom left corner, an icon of a camera with a line through it will appear:

  3. Select this icon

  4. The icon will change to a camera, accompanied by the overview box, as in the below image. This will be displayed in the bottom left corner of the map

Quick Steps to Enable or Disable the Overview Box by Default:

  1. Select your name in the top right corner

  2. Select 'Profile'

  3. On the left-hand side, select 'Configuration'

  4. Navigate to 'Map overview is visible'

  5. To enable this setting as default, click on the toggle to switch it on. It will turn green as in the below snapshot. Overview box setting is now enabled as default.

  6. When opening a process, the overview box appears by default.

  7. To disable this setting as default, click on the toggle to switch it off. It will turn grey. Overview box setting is now disabled as default.

  8. When opening a process, an icon of a camera with a line through it will display at the bottom left of the map.

Whether the default configuration is switched on or off, the overview box can still be switched on and off when viewing a process by clicking on the camera icon in the bottom left of the map.
