The way that the map displays in processes and value streams can be changed from a swimlane view to a view where the roles are embedded and no swimlanes are displayed. Read more about embedded view for complex processes here.

Quick Steps to Enable Embedded View
Open the Actions
menu in the diagram content
Switch the Display embedded view toggle on
An additional option is available to allow colours when the embedded view is on. Colours can not be set if the embedded view is not enabled.
