How Resume Send Works

Resume Send is a feature in ProdPro designed to help you connect and network with others in the TV/film industry. It’s not a job board – instead, it’s a tool to share your resume directly with the people who matter, while keeping you informed about opportunities.

What Resume Send Is (and Isn't)

  • Networking-focused: Share your resume with producers, department heads, and other decision-makers directly through ProdPro.

  • Profile-driven: Helps you showcase your experience while building your industry network.

  • Not a job board: You won’t see “open postings” – instead, you’ll use Resume Send to make meaningful, targeted connections.

How Resume Send Delivers Resumes

When you use Resume Send, ProdPro delivers your resume through our private contact network. Here’s how it works:

  1. You select your recipient inside ProdPro.

  2. We deliver your resume and message securely to that recipient’s private contact email (through ProdPro’s trusted contact database)

  3. Recipients are notified in two ways:

    1. Instant Email Notification: The recipient gets an alert letting them know they have a new message and resume waiting.

    2. Weekly Summary Digest: If they haven’t yet claimed their ProdPro profile, they’ll also receive a weekly email summarizing new resumes/messages they’ve received.

What You Should Know

  • Engagement isn't guaranteed: We deliver your resume, but we can’t guarantee the recipient will open or respond to the email.

  • We build the pipes, you build the connection: ProdPro makes sure your resume gets to the right inboxes – giving you the best possible shot at being seen.

  • Weekly visibility: Even if your recipient misses the instant alert, the weekly summary digest ensures they’re reminded.

Best Practices for Using Resume Send

  • Be concise and professional in your message – recipients are more likely to engage with clear, respectful outreach.

  • Use Resume Send regularly to stay visible in the industry without spamming contacts.

  • Keep your resume up to date so recipients always see your latest credits and experience.
