What's new in Pipeline — September 2026

A new Accounts section, email alerts on your saved views, activity tracking on opportunities, and team permissions. Here's everything that shipped last month.

Accounts

Accounts are now their own section in the CRM, alongside Opportunities and Contacts. An account is a company you do business with — a studio, a production company, a vendor — and it gives you one place to see everything connected to them.

Each account holds an address, website, phone, email and a description, and can be linked to a production company. The detail page shows the open opportunities on that account and when it was last touched.

  • Filter the list by owner, location and other fields

  • Add a description from the list or the detail page

  • Assign an owner, so everyone knows whose relationship it is

  • Opportunities now link through to their account

Email alerts on your saved views

You can now get an email when something new matches one of your saved views — daily or weekly, your choice. Set it once and the view keeps working while you're not looking at it.

Alerts are opt-in per view. Saving a search and asking to be emailed about it are separate decisions, so nothing starts sending until you turn it on.

Activity on opportunities

Opportunities now carry an activity record — who did what, and when. Notes, tasks and status changes all show up in one place on the opportunity, so you can see how a deal has moved without reading back through everything attached to it.

You can also filter the opportunity list by activity. The most useful version of that question is the one nobody could answer before: which deals haven't been touched in 90 days?

Admin & Team permissions

Inviting people got easier. Admins can now invite team members within the allowed seat limit rather than having to contact support. Admins can also immediately deactivate users from the My Team page.

Companies can also request to turn on team permissions, which controls who can see which opportunities. With it off, everyone at your company sees everything — which is how Pipeline has always worked and stays the right setup for most teams.

With it on, you can restrict a member to the opportunities they own. Admins always see everything.

Contacts

Contacts are split between your own and your company's, and a few things got easier:

  • Import setting — when you import contacts, you now choose whether they also go into your personal contacts, rather than everything landing in both places

  • Notes column — see your note on a contact from the list, without opening them

  • Infinite scroll — on Contacts, Accounts and Tasks, so long lists keep loading as you go

  • A cleaner contact detail page and list layout

Following has been replaced by Contacts

The Follow action is gone from crew on a production and contacts on a company. Adding someone to your contacts does the same job and more — you keep getting told when they join something, and you get a record you can add notes to and share with your team.

Anyone you were following is already in your contacts. Nothing was lost.

Tasks

The task list has a new layout and proper filters, so you can narrow by the things you'd expect rather than scrolling for them.

Production search filters

Primary Production Company and Distributor filters now have include and exclude toggles — so you can ask for everything from a studio, or everything except it.

Smaller improvements

  • Saved views can be opened by link, so you can share one with a colleague

  • The Add Opportunity form tells you if one already exists for that production

  • Company profile gallery fixes

  • Opportunity export improvements
