What is ProdPro Network?

ProdPro Network is a new approach to connecting the industry to help crew, vendors, and entertainment companies secure opportunities. We combine ProdPro’s in-house research with modern technology to facilitate the sharing of information within an invite-only network for industry professionals.

While finding jobs through word of mouth ( i.e. your colleagues texting you about a rumor) will always be an important part of succeeding in this dynamic industry, there are huge inefficiencies that lead to crew not finding the right jobs, and productions not finding the right crew.

We track productions in early stages of prep and track the decision-makers that are important for securing jobs. We take production tracking to a new level with a team of researchers that make hundreds of calls a week to verify information and modern technology that allows you to find the information you care about most. Unlike IMDb and other listing services, we aim to have the most accurate information with verified credits. We are also designing this platform for professionals who make their living working on TV and Film production, not fans.

As a new tool, you’ll have lots to look forward to such as more features to track the jobs you’ve applied to, quickly send resumes, hiring tools for producers, and much more. If you have been invited to be a member of ProdPro Network, we’re excited for you to join us on this journey to make ProdPro the industry standard.

We love feedback. We love tough questions, so please don’t be shy. This will help us make the product better for everyone.

1. How do you handle user data?

Our mission is to help industry professionals find jobs, and we do this through facilitating the sharing of information. With that said, it’s important to know what information is kept private and what information is shared within the ProdPro network.

  1. What information is not shared with other ProdPro subscribers:

    1. User registration and account information:

      1. Account email

      2. Account password

      3. Account subscription details

    2. Productions you’ve bookmarked

    3. Crew you are following

    4. Your applications and notes

  2. What information is shared with other ProdPro subscribers:

    1. 'My Profile' Email: You may enter in an email that will be listed on your profile with ProdPro Pipeline. If you choose to enter a crew email, this contact information will be shared with entertainment companies looking to hire crew as well as industry vendors that are interested in providing services to your production. ProdPro is an invite-only Network where we vet each company that subscribes to our service, and we take great care to prevent spam emails. For this reason, we do not share your crew email with other crew members on ProdPro Network. You may opt out of your email being shared.

    2. 'My Profile' Credits: Any credits you enter in on your profile will be shared with other ProdPro subscribers. Unverified credits or credits that are part of productions ProdPro currently does not track will only remain on your profile page. Verified credits will appear on the specific production credits (production detail pages).

    3. Additional 'My Profile' information: Additional crew profile information such as talent agency, LinkedIn, Instagram, IMDb profiles, etc will be shared with all subscribers of ProdPro

2. How do you verify credits?

To verify credits, we may ask for specific details (production office contact, department head contact), documents (call sheets, paystubs) or references to verify the credit. We will only use the documents you share with us to verify your credit. Once verified we will delete any copies of those documents to ensure proper handling of private information.

3. Why don't I see all my credits on 'My Profile'?

If you don’t see projects listed under your profile or don’t see all of them you can manually add credits on the ‘My Profile’ page. The projects previously listed were only specific projects researched by ProdPro.

4. I'm not seeing the people I've worked with in 'My Network', why?

The ‘My Network’ feature relies on your verified credits in ProdPro and the verified credits related to those productions. Once you add in your credits on your profile, ProdPro will verify your credits based on the information you provide.

5. What types of productions are tracked in ProdPro?

Currently, ProdPro only tracks live-action scripted TV and Film productions. Unscripted productions are on our roadmap over the next year. If there are specific types of productions you are interested in seeing that we don’t have, please let us know.
