Drafts behave like any other time entry once you know where to look for them.
đ New to drafts? Start with Draft Time Entries: Overview.
Finding Your Drafts and Rejected Entries
A draft looks different depending on which view you're in.
Day view: a draft entry's card appears as a lighter, see-through version of the solid card a confirmed entry gets.
â
Timesheet view: a draft shows a small red dot next to its duration in the grid, but only once a service has been selected. Before that, draft entries aren't visible there.
â
Calendar view: a draft with a set time range appears as an outlined, uncolored block. A draft with a duration but no specific time range doesn't appear in the grid at all, instead it's reflected in the day's total near the date header, still without the color a confirmed day gets.
â
Drafts also appear in:
The Time tab on a task.
Time tracking widgets (desktop app).
If you have any drafts or rejected entries, a For review badge with a count appears next to the date navigation in My Time. Click it to open the Review Time panel.
The Rejected tab lists entries your project manager has declined.
The Drafts tab lists entries you haven't finished yet.
Each tab shows its own count and lists entries by date.
Editing a Draft or Rejected Entry
From the Review Time panel, open the three-dot menu next to an entry and select Edit. This opens the same Edit Your Time Entry window you'd get anywhere else, with Date, Service, Time, Task, and Note fields.
For a draft, the save button reads Save as draft until the required fields are filled in.
đ Editing doesn't move a draft out of Draft status on its own. It stays a draft until all required fields are filled in.
For a rejected entry with changes requested, the reason is shown at the top of the window, and the save button reads Save.
Deleting a Draft or Rejected Entry
From the three-dot menu next to the entry, select Delete. You can also delete directly from the Edit Your Time Entry window.
Deleted entries are soft-deleted: they move to the Recycle Bin, not removed permanently.
You can restore a deleted entry from there if you change your mind.
đ See The Recycle Bin for how restoring and permanent deletion work.
Drafts Deleted by Submitting a Timesheet
đ This is a different kind of deletion from the one above, and it's permanent. If your organization uses formal timesheet submission, submitting a timesheet deletes any draft entries still sitting in that period, outright, with no trip through the Recycle Bin and no way to restore them.
Before you submit, the Submit Timesheet window tells you exactly what's about to be lost, for example, "By submitting you will permanently delete 1 draft time entry (02:00 h)."
Check that warning before confirming. If you want to keep a draft, finish it (so it becomes a confirmed entry) or leave it out of the submission window rather than clicking through.
đ See Setting Up Time Entry Submissions for how timesheet submission works.
