Is it possible to sync my Purchase Orders with QuickBooks?
Currently, our integration with QuickBooks is limited to Invoicing. Purchase Orders won’t sync at this stage.
I already use QuickBooks, should I also connect to Stripe?
Stripe and QuickBooks serve different purposes. Stripe is an online payment facilitator, and our invoicing system is powered by it.
So, in order to send invoices through Programa, it’s required to set up a Stripe account. QuickBooks is a bookkeeping tool used to reconcile payments.
Its integration with Programa is optional and can be enabled if you’d like to sync your financial records.
Can I edit invoices in both Programa and QuickBooks?
Yes, you can edit invoices in both Programa and QuickBooks. However, the integration is a one-way sync, so updates made in QuickBooks won’t reflect back in Programa.
For the best workflow, we recommend selecting one platform as your primary editing location to avoid any potential conflicts.
Why my invoice items are not in the same order when they sync to QuickBooks?
At this stage, QuickBooks imports invoice line items in reverse order, meaning the most recent items appear at the top and the oldest at the bottom. That’s why the invoice may appear out of order on your end.
Which types of QuickBooks accounts are compatible with the platform?
Only QuickBooks Online accounts are supported.
Accounts for self-employed individuals, such as the Sole Trader version of QuickBooks, are not accepted, as there are no APIs available for this type at the moment.
QuickBooks Online (supported across all subscription types, including the basic Simple Start plan) is the only version that supports external app integrations.
