Product Approvals streamlines the product review process so you can get client feedback quickly and maintain a clear approval history for every project.
This guide explains how to submit scheduled products for client approval through the Client Dashboard, allowing them to review and provide feedback.
Submitting products for client review
Select products to submit:
Navigate to your Schedule
Identify products ready for client review
Change individual product statuses to "Client Review", or bulk select products by checking the boxes beside each item, clicking the Actions button, selecting Change Statuses, then choosing Client review
Share with your client:
Click the Share button in the top right corner to share your schedule with your client via the Client Dashboard (if not already shared).
Your client will receive an email notification that products are awaiting their review.
Your client will see a "Feedback Required" notification on the schedule in their dashboard and can access submitted products through the Approvals and Feedback tab.
Tip: Make sure you've turned on the 'Can Approve' toggle in your clients schedule viewing permissions.
How clients review and approve products
Your clients have three ways to review products you've submitted:
From the summary view:
Click the Approvals and Feedback tab in the live schedule.
Review the list of products.
Click Approve or Reject beside each product.
Add comments or feedback in the comment box (optional).
From the product details view:
Click into any product to see detailed specifications.
Click Approve or Reject at the top of the details page.
Add comments or feedback in the comment box (optional).
Click Next product for approval to move to the next item.
Bulk approval or rejection:
Click Approve All or Reject All at the top of the page.
Add comments or feedback in the comment box (optional).
Tracking approval history in your Schedule
Schedule Approvals automatically records every review decision, including who made it and when.
View recent feedback:
When clients submit feedback, an orange notification icon appears within the Approvals tab.
Click the Approvals tab to see all reviewed products, reviewers, dates, and comments.
Click Mark Read to move items to the History tab.
Access complete history of approvals:
The History tab shows all reviewed products and their approval status.
Each product's approval history is stored in the 'Details' tray under the 'Approval' tab.
Use this approval record to reference past decisions if questions arise.
Note: This approval history is essential for resolving any future product disputes and maintaining project documentation.
Review Approved & Rejected Products in Pulse
Pulse brings client product approvals and rejections straight to your attention. Simply click Review in your Pulse list to see the feedback and decide on your next steps.
To action an approved or rejected product:
Select the Review button to open the approved or rejected products.
Read the client's feedback or rejection reason in the Comment panel.
Click the product to open it and make any necessary edits.
When ready, update the product status using the drop-down to continue or resubmit for client review.
Select Done to save your changes.
Tip: If no further action is needed, you can select Mark As Read to dismiss the item from your Pulse list without making any changes.
